Contract for After-School Care Children
regarding admission and care in a childcare facility pursuant to Section 22 of the German Social Code Book VIII (SGB VIII) and the Saxon Act on the Promotion of Children in Childcare Facilities (SächsKitaG).

§1 Admission Data
In a childcare facility operated by the Municipal Childcare Facilities Dresden, the following child is admitted:

After you have written in the Adress of your child, you have to choose between 2 options: either the contract is terminated from … to (box 1) or the contract is terminated to the 31st of july of that year, when your child will finish the 4th grade (box 2).
The child is admitted to after-school care (Hort).
A registration number (Personenkennnummer) will be assigned by the Childcare
Contributions Office and must be quoted for inquiries or changes regarding the childcare arrangement.
§2 Conditions
The contract becomes effective only if:
- The child attends the school assigned to the after-school care facility; and
- The child has age-appropriate measles vaccination protection, or for children older than 24 months, proof is provided of a recent first measles vaccination where the second vaccination could not yet be administered due to the medically required interval.
If this is the child’s first admission to childcare in Saxony:
- The legal guardians must provide either the child health booklet (U-Heft) or a medical certificate proving that the child has received a medical examination appropriate for their age and has received all publicly recommended vaccinations, or that the guardians have declared their refusal to consent to certain vaccinations.

The Municipal Childcare Facilities Dresden reserve the right to place the child temporarily in another childcare facility for operational reasons (e.g., renovation work or emergencies). The same applies in cases of emergency childcare.
§4 Legal Basis / Admission Documents / Educational Concept
- Childcare is governed by:
- Saxon Childcare Act (SächsKitaG)
- German Social Code Book VIII (SGB VIII)
- German Social Code Book XII (SGB XII)
- Administrative regulations concerning parental contributions
- Funding regulations of the City of Dresden
- The admission documents and the educational concept of the childcare facility form part of this contract. The educational concept may be inspected at the facility and provided upon request.
§5 Care Hours
The daily care period may be selected as:
- 5 hours
- 6 hours
- 7 hours
- 8 hours
- 9 hours
- 10 hours
- 11 hours

The agreed care time is calculated continuously. Interruptions due to the child’s absence (e.g., doctor appointments or participation in external activities) do not reduce the booked hours, except for school teaching time between morning and afternoon care.
On school-free days, additional free care beyond the agreed hours may be used.
Changes to care hours are only possible for an entire calendar month and must be requested in writing at least one month in advance.
§6 Parental Contributions
- A monthly parental contribution is charged for childcare. The amount is determined by official notice according to the current parental contribution regulations.
- Contributions are due on the 15th of each month. For children with increased support needs receiving integration assistance, the corresponding approval notice must be submitted.
§7 Opening Hours
Childcare facilities are generally open Monday through Friday within the framework opening hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The specific opening hours are determined by the facility management in consultation with the parents‘ council.
§8 Closure Periods
- The childcare facility may establish closure periods in consultation with the parents‘ council. Parents will be informed in good time. Emergency childcare will be offered to working parents during these periods.
- Closure periods do not affect the obligation to pay parental contributions.
§9 Duty of Supervision
- If a child is not collected, from 7:00 p.m. onward the child will be taken by an educational professional to the Children’s and Youth Emergency Service:

Information will be left at the childcare facility regarding the child’s whereabouts and contact details.
- Any costs incurred due to this transfer must be borne by the legal guardians.
§10 Notification Obligations
The legal guardians must immediately notify the facility management in writing of any changes in personal circumstances, including:
- Address changes
- Private telephone number changes
- Business telephone number changes
- Changes in marital status
§11 Termination
The legal guardians have the right to terminate the contract with one month’s notice effective at the end of the following month. The termination must be submitted in writing.
(2) The state capital Dresden is entitled to an extraordinary right of termination, in particular if the legal guardians are in arrears with the payment of at least two monthly contributions or are in arrears with reduced monthly contributions due to eligibility for a fee reduction.
(3) If a child covered by this contract completes primary school within the school district to which they are assigned, this contract shall end at the end of the month in which schooling is completed. Upon application by the legal guardians, a decision on the possibility of continuing the childcare contract at the newly assigned location shall be made depending on the provider’s capacity and the available places at that location.
§ 12 Final Provisions
(1) Should individual provisions of this contract be or become invalid or unenforceable after the conclusion of the contract, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid and enforceable provision that comes as close as possible to the economic purpose intended by the parties. The above shall apply accordingly if the contract contains a gap.
(2) Amendments or additions to this contract must be made in writing. If this requirement is not met, they shall be invalid.
(3) The place of jurisdiction arising from this contract is Dresden.

Publication in Digital Media
When images are published online, they may be accessed and stored worldwide.
Search engines may locate these images, and third parties may combine them with other publicly available information to create personality profiles.
Photos and videos published online may also be used by external providers for training AI image-generation models. This could result in generated images depicting faces from training datasets.
There is also a risk that images may be misused for creating deepfakes.
Once published online, complete control over further distribution, processing, or algorithmic use cannot be guaranteed.
Use of Online Photo Services
Digital photo development is now almost exclusively carried out through online photo services.
Image files may be transmitted to these providers for printing photographs or creating photo products (e.g., photo books).
Without consent, the facility may not be able to produce certain image-based materials, including development documentation.
Sharing Photos with Other Parents
Parents often wish to receive photos from events or everyday activities in the daycare. These photos may include images of other children, such as in group photos.
